Nazarius

Saint Nazarius was born in Rome in the year 1 and lived during the earliest days of the Church, when fidelity to Christ could demand the ultimate sacrifice. Remembered as a soldier, he bore witness to the Gospel not only by his life but by his death, embracing martyrdom in 56.
